Young Joon Kwak on Art21

I started thinking about this assemblage as a kind of musical sampling (Devin referenced sampling in a conversation we were having about Young’s interview, and it made a lot of sense). At any rate, in this interview I met with Young in his basement studio at Roxaboxen just before his exhibit. We had a long conversation, what has been edited down here. It made me think and it made me happy.
